Doctrinal Distinctives

As there are many controversial doctrinal issues, it is our desire that we diligently seek to understand God’s Word in such a way that accurately represents His nature and intent for His church.

Here are some of the key doctrinal distinctives we hold as a church:

• The inspiration, inerrancy, authority, and sufficiency of the Bible

• Expositional preaching of the Bible

• God’s sovereignty in salvation (or the doctrines of grace)

• The autonomy of the local church

• Believer’s baptism

• Elder-led church polity

• Complementarity of gender roles

• Biblical view of gender, sexuality, and marriage

• Literal six-day creationism (the young earth view)
